Brainfood is Working with the American Heart Association
Posted: January 2, 2006
Brainfood has begun work with the American Heart Association to develop new technology components for their online services. The website is a central communication point for the Association of Americans to build awareness of eating and living healthier lives, and in the process, getting in better shape.

Brainfood is committed to helping spread the cause of the American Heart Assciation with our involvement in making the site easier to use, which will make it more productive for people interested in keeping in shape and eating well to avoid heart disease. Heart Checkmark is the first project in our work with with the AHA to help build a business for health by developing a shopping list manager that will help people learn how to choose more heart-healthy solutions while shopping. Heart Chceckmark users can use the site to peruse the wide variety of healthy food located in their neighborhood grocery, then select and manage the list of products they are interested in. The products can be printed as a grocery list which they can take to the grocery store and check off items as they buy them. This system works well for people who don't have time to verify while shopping which foods are (or are not) healthy. Brainfood is currently in the process of developing new sections of the site for AHA to ensure that people are staying healthy and happy.
