Erik Alexander Schuessler was born in Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City, Kansas, and then moved to Dallas, Texas for his high school education. He graduated from the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he received top honors from the Arts Recognition and Talent Search put on by the National Endowment for the Arts. During his time in high school he worked on free lance design projects for local designers and agencies. He went on to receive his B.F.A. in fine arts with a focus on Painting, Design and Sculpture from Southern Methodist University in 1995.

While attending art school he and his brother quickly became partners in Novare taking on more of the daily operations of the business and learning how to bring creative unique designs to customer's projects. Later, he helped develop the original business concepts for with his brother. He returned to the pursuits of 3d development on numerous client projects.

Erik Schuessler enjoys traveling around the world for design speaking engaugements or to just kick back and take it easy. He is returning to his favorite passion, art. The traditional art interests will not do. Video, special effects and 3d are elements that he is working with producing shorts and pranks with others with a good level of success. Staying in shape, writing screenplays, and novels are other activities he enjoys. He is also a fan of live music and art events. Erik currently devotes some of his time to supporting his alma mater providing assistance for alumni events and mixers to benefit the school, which he thoroughly enjoys.
